Service to the Neuroscience Community

By serving on an editorial board, as a judge at research presentations, and giving talks about the profession, I am able to further Neurobiology and science in my community. This does several things. By serving on an editorial board and serving as a research judge, I can help encourage the level of science scholarship in my community to greater heights. Serving by giving talks about the profession allow me to educate the community of the basics of Neurobiology, giving our community more knowledge to understand the science that directly affects them. The two talks for the International Rett Syndrome foundation (From Mind to molecules) were geared at families and care-givers who were better trying to understand the disease of Rett Syndrome.
